The Colombian coach highlighted the performance of his squad, but praised the presence of the Victoria fans even more, as they influenced the win by a narrow margin over the 'lionesses'.
"I don't know if they are the best fans in the world, but we do have the best ones in Peru. That deserves applause for the people who accompany us, who give us encouragement from the stands, it was very important for this victory," expressed Ortíz to Nativa.
He also said that he does not expect drastic changes in the return match between Alliance Lima vs. Universitario at the Monumental Stadium, and he demonstrated the confidence he has in his players.
"I don't think the game of both teams will change much. They always play in a direct way, a little more in the midfield, and we have to have more defensive volume because at times they got behind us," he said.
Finally, Jhon Ortíz added: "The advantage we have with players on the sides is that they are fast, they handle profiles and positions, they give us great motivation and coordination for the tactical part," he said.
