Alianza Lima: goalkeeper Ángelo Campos is intervened for alleged physical assault on his partner [PHOTOS]

Ángelo Campos, titular goalkeeper of Alianza Lima, was arrested last night and taken to the Chacarilla del Estanque police station in the district of Surco, after being accused by his partner of physical and psychological violence.

It was revealed that the accuser affirmed to the police that it is not the first time that the athlete has attacked her, in addition to threatening to take away the child they both have. The victim requested protection measures.

CLUB STATEMENT

After this incident, the Alianza Lima club issued a statement indicating that the starting goalkeeper, Ángelo Campos, will not participate in the match scheduled for Saturday, August 26th in the Liga 1.

Likewise, the document states that they have initiated a procedure and investigation into the incident, and have already contacted all parties involved in order to gather information about this event.
