During his participation in "La casa de los famosos", Nicola talked about the controversies he faced in Peru and indicated that this would have caused hatred against him from the press and some people.
The former member of "Esto es guerra" revealed the complicated moment he lived with his ex-partner Angie Arizaga. "I had a very famous relationship, we were the stars of the channel, in 2015 I had a fight with her, a strong argument, she started hitting things at my house and I took them away, but I didn't hit her or anything, she called a friend and told him, 'Nicola hit me', and they recorded all that and sold it to a channel, you could hear her crying, saying that I had hit her, abused her, so I came out to deny it, but people came after me," Nicola recounted.

Porcella also revealed that he was involved in a strong controversy after a woman reported being assaulted at a party. "In 2019, I went to a party, and at a party, someone comes out the next day and says, 'I was drugged at a party', I was invited and they say, 'a girl was drugged at Nicola's party', it's not my party, they sued, a journalist came after me, I sued her," the Peruvian model commented.

Some time later, a video was leaked where he was arguing with his ex-girlfriend Angie Arizaga and he was once again accused of being violent. "I made a mistake, I was at a nightclub and my ex called me and came to the nightclub and I started arguing with her, saying many things to her, but I was never aggressive, but they recorded me and labeled me as aggressive and the channel fired me, that's when she says that I never hurt her, but the channel fired me," Nicola referred.
