Although these new devices have many improvements in their hinge and flexible screen, the truth is that if you plan to buy a Galaxy Z Fold5 or Galaxy Z Flip5, you will have to consider that they have a certain extreme durability, due to the number of folds they can withstand and the weather conditions.
In other words, if the phones are exposed to 25°, they will only have up to 200,000 folds, which represents about 5 years of usable life, opening and closing them about 100 times a day.
On the other hand, if the device reaches high temperatures of up to 60°, the folds may be reduced to 150,000 folds, and if the device is subjected to temperatures below -20°, the folds will be 30,000 (representing 2 years of use).
