With a goal from Bryan Reyna, Alianza Lima returned to victory with a 1-0 win against UTC in the 7th round of the Clausura Tournament 2023 at the Matute Stadium. "The most important thing was that we needed this victory. We hadn't won in four consecutive matches, so today was quite important for us," he said to Gol Perú.
On the other hand, he referred to the arrival of the new Uruguayan coach, Mauricio Larriera, who was even present at the Matute Stadium watching the match against UTC.
"The game is like that, sometimes you leave happy, sometimes you don't, sometimes you deserve it, sometimes you don't. The most important thing is what we see for Alianza. Now comes coach Mauricio and he will have to guide this team for the remainder of the Clausura Tournament," he added.
