After Deportivo Municipal's 2-1 loss at home to ADT Tarma on the sixth day of the Clausura Tournament, last Wednesday, the 'la banda del basurero' club used its social media to issue an important statement that undoubtedly leaves the fans with various doubts.

And it is that, the 'Franja' institution officially dismissed coach Rafael Castillo, who joined the team at the beginning of the Clausura Tournament, where he did not achieve good results in the six games he managed: he had one victory and four defeats.
"By mutual agreement, Professor Rafael Castillo and our institution have decided to terminate the contractual relationship. We thank him and his coaching staff for the time they were with us and we wish them the best of success in their future professional projects," the club said in the notification.
In addition to making Castillo's departure official, they also took the opportunity to inform that the reserve team coach, Adrián Celis, will take charge of the first team starting this Thursday, August 3. Despite that, confirmation is still awaited regarding the length of time Celis will be the coach of Municipal.
