Club Atlético Grau Announces Departure of Coach Daniel Ahmed
In an official announcement through their social media, Club Atlético Grau confirmed that coach Daniel Ahmed will no longer be leading the first team after 8 months in charge, joining the list of strategists who leave midway through the Liga 1.
The Piura team expressed their gratitude to the Technical Director for his services and wished him the best of luck for his future plans.
"Professor Daniel Ahmed and his coaching staff are no longer part of our institution. We wish them great success in their future projects," reads the statement from the white club.
In addition, the board informed that Carlos García Mezones, coach of the reserve team, will temporarily assume the technical direction of the first team. It is worth noting that García has the reserve team in sixth position with 17 points.
