During her message to the Nation, Dina Boluarte announced new bonuses. What are they and how can we access them?

The president of the Republic, Dina Boluarte Zegarra, gave her first speech as a leader on the occasion of Patriotic Holidays 2023. In this sense, this moment was opportune to explain about the work done by her administration and announce new actions in favor of Peruvian citizens.

The government approved a bonus of 600 soles for state workers.

During her speech, she mentioned the delivery of bonuses and social programs for families in vulnerable situations. Which ones are they? Here's the complete list and which ones will be active in 2023.

During the presidential speech on July 28th, Boluarte Zegarra highlighted economic bonuses that will be delivered through the general plan "Con Punche Perú".

Bonuses 2023: What are the new subsidies?

  • "Con Punche Perú": dedicated to giving a boost to social programs Juntos, Pensión 65, and Contigo, the strengthening of common pots, and the expansion of the FISE voucher.
  • "Impulso MYPERU": will serve to financially support the recovery of more than 200,000 micro and small enterprises with a total of 3,000 million soles in credits.
  • "FertiAbono 2": MIDAGRI will offer more than 136 million soles to support 166,000 agricultural producers. On the other hand, 640 itinerant markets will be organized in 23 regions of the country.
  • "Seguro Agrícola Catastrófico": This support seeks to indemnify more than 30,000 producers for a total of 48 million soles, covering 60,000 hectares for damages caused by natural disasters to their crops.
  • "Fondo AgroPerú": in this case, loans will be granted to 16,000 organized small agricultural producers for a total of 200 million soles.
  • "Puna Resiliente": will serve a total of 1,200 producers to carry out crop and livestock adaptation in order to optimize their income.

Thus, the president after taking this important position in December 2022, when Pedro Castillo was removed from office for trying to establish an "exceptional government".

Why are bonuses delivered in Peru?

The subsidies granted by the Ministry of Economy, with the endorsement of the State, seek to generate an economic boost for the thousands of families who were financially affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Throughout this time, different bonuses have been delivered in our country such as the Universal Family Bonus, Yanapay Bonus, and Agrarian Bonus.
