The Peruvian Government and the representatives of the five confederations that make up the unions of the public sector have signed the Centralized Collective Agreement 2023-2024, which establishes the delivery of a 600 soles bonus to state workers and a salary increase. It is important to mention that this monthly increase will be subject to social charges. It is also pensionable in nature, has a remunerative character, and is part of the calculation base for the labor benefits of state workers.
When will the public sector salary increase take effect?
According to the collective bargaining agreement between the Government and the workers, it was agreed that public sector personnel will receive a permanent monthly increase starting from January 1, 2024.
How much will the public sector salary increase?
The salary increase will be S/100; however, it should be noted that it will be carried out in two parts: S/50 will be raised in January, and the other S/50 will take effect from December.
Requirements to be eligible for the salary increase
In order for employees to access this economic improvement, they must be registered in the Computer Application for the Centralized Registry of Payrolls and Human Resources Data of the Public Sector (AIRSHP) of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF).

In the case of administrative servants under labor regime 276, belonging to the occupational groups of professionals, technicians, and assistants, the monthly increase of the Consolidated Unique Amount (MUC) will be applied to those who do not hold managerial or trust positions, and who also do not meet the characteristics of a public or managerial official.
