"Are they going to call me a negative leader after two and a half years giving my life to Alianza Lima?" questioned the blanquiazul forward.

Strong and clear. The striker from Alianza Lima, Hernán Barcos, expressed his annoyance at rumors that link him as responsible for the departure of Guillermo "Chicho" Salas as coach of the blanquiazul team.

In statements to the press, the "Pirate" categorically rejected that he had any influence on the dismissal of the popular "Chicho" and asked for "respect" for his career and all the joys he has given to the La Victoria team.

"They are looking for a problem, it seems to me, where there is none. They blame me, tomorrow they blame someone else. Bustos also left at one point and they blamed me. Why do they blame me now? They want to find a leader. Are they going to call me a negative leader after two and a half years giving Alianza Lima life? Show some respect, respect my history", he said.

ARREMETE CONTRA "TUITEROS"

Barcos also confirmed that in his 20 years of football career, he has never had a problem like this and asked the fans and the media not to be swayed by what "tweeters" may say about him.

"Twenty years playing as a professional, I never had a problem and you are going to tell me that I caused a coach to be fired. If I had the power to fire a coach, I wouldn't be here, I would be a manager, not a player. Think about what you say, don't be swayed by the tweeters who don't know what they're saying, it affects not only one person, but the family, the people, those who really believe in us", he added.
