The television presenter went to a well-known bookstore in Miraflores to present his new book "The Geniuses." "If I had known that he was contemplating suicide, I would have tried to see him and help him," declared Bayly during the presentation of his work. "It's a subject that hurts me a lot. Who was Diego Bertie?
Born on November 2, 1967, Diego Bertie had his first role playing 'Ignacio' in "Rosa de América" (1988). However, the charismatic artist rose to stardom with the character 'Pedro' in "Natacha" (1990 - 1991). Among his recent roles were 'Sergio Estrada' in "Al fondo hay sitio" and "Luis Felipe Sandoval" in "De vuelta al barrio."
In 2022, shortly before the fateful August 5th, the remembered Bertie confessed in Medina's show that he had a relationship with Jaime Bayly. In fact, he stated that he was hurt by the fact that the writer also revealed that intimacy in a book; that's why their friendship ended.
