After several weeks, Conmebol finally pronounced by issuing the terrible sanction to footballers José Carvallo and Roberto Siucho, both from Universitario, for having been involved in a strong brawl at the Monumental with the Gimnsia team at the end of the group stage match of the Copa Sudamericana.
Through this document revealed by Conmebol, it was notified: "To suspend player José Aurelio Carvallo Alonso for 8 matches, including the automatically imposed suspension match. This sanction must be complied with in accordance with the provisions of Articles 70 and following of the CONMEBOL Disciplinary Code".
In the same way, the economic sanction imposed on the goalkeeper of Universitario was known: "To impose an economic fine of twelve thousand dollars under Article 14.6 of the CONMEBOL Disciplinary Code", they added.
How many matches did Roberto Siucho receive?
"To suspend player Roberto Siucho Neira for 4 matches, including the automatically imposed suspension match. This sanction must be complied with in accordance with the provisions of Articles 70 and following of the CONMEBOL Disciplinary Code", the important tournament specified in reference to the sanction imposed on the merengue midfielder.
Just like the goalkeeper of Universitario, Siucho also received a fine amounting to six thousand dollars, "The amount of this fine will be automatically debited from the amount to be received by their club for television or sponsorship purposes", the document concluded.
