Decisive hours to finalize an agreement without harming Alianza Lima's coffers.
Christian Cueva attended training early at the Esther Grande de Bentín headquarters, but worked on his own and not alongside the team in order to fulfill his contract, although the club maintains the idea of rescinding the bond.

What's happening?
Christian Cueva has a contract with Alianza until August 31, which means he has two salaries left to collect, each one around $100,000 (70 from the club and 30 from a brand). The position of the board is to finalize the agreement, but they will have to focus on the legal aspects to determine whether they can disregard that salary due to the disciplinary offense of not attending training and being "caught" in a party.
From his side, Christian Cueva acknowledged his mistake and even offered a reduction of almost 50% of his salary, but with the condition of training with the first team and missing the match against Sporting Cristal as part of his punishment. However, if the decision is to end the contract prematurely, there would be a legal issue considering it as an abrupt dismissal. That is where the case is stuck.
For now, and with ongoing meetings, he will continue attending first-team training. He will not be with the reserves, as if the club sends him to work with that group, it could be considered as labor harassment, since his contract states that he is a professional footballer.
