"The FPF is willing to support the players": Lozano after Cueva's indiscipline

Last Monday, Christian Cueva was absent from Alianza Lima's training sessions, without permission from the technical staff led by Guillermo Salas. After that, the blanquiazul club issued a statement stating that they will take the corresponding actions. However, the Videna also commented on the matter, with Agustín Lozano -president of the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF)- being in charge of talking about the 'case of Aladino' and any other player from the Peruvian National Team.

"I talked to (Christian) Cueva and also saw Carlos Zambrano. All players are invited because this is the home of the national team. They can come to continue their training routine. Speaking beyond that is not my responsibility, but I assure you that the FPF is willing to give all the support and assistance to the players," said the president of the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) to the media.

One detail: Juan Reynoso also spoke in San Luis. The coach of the national team is aware that the Christian Cueva issue should not be overlooked, but he trusts that the midfielder of the Peruvian National Team will find a quick solution to the matter.

"I don't want to get involved in a comment about a player who is currently in his team (Alianza Lima) and surely the issue will be resolved by him and his institution," said the 'Ajedrecista' regarding the present of the intimate midfielder.

The player's current situation at Alianza Lima is as follows: this Wednesday, the midfielder arrived around 7:30 am at the Esther Grande de Bentín facilities in Lurín, despite the fact that the main squad was scheduled to meet at 9 am. In the midst of this, it was known that the '10' wore training clothes, but was not authorized to work with the rest of his teammates; he did it separately.
