This Saturday, Alianza Lima will face Sporting Cristal, for the third matchday of the Liga 1 Betsson 2023 Clausura Tournament. These apologies are especially for Alianza Lima's fans, who show me their unconditional support every match. I will apologize to my teammates, coaching staff, and the club privately".
Furthermore, the player from the Peru National Team said: "I know that there are consequences for mistakes, and I will accept whatever is imposed on me. I hope to have the opportunity to redeem myself. I apologize especially to my family, who have been exposed to attacks on social media in the last few hours, and I kindly ask that they be left alone, as any responsibility is solely mine".
Finally, he stated that "the burden we footballers carry, being flesh and blood people, contrary to popular belief, is sometimes heavy and difficult... and not having enough strength to carry it, we make bad choices. I will seek help to endure more and make better choices".
