The Executive branch has allocated 1,200 million soles to the regional governments for the payment of judicial sentences as res judicata or social debt, to a total of 102,529 teachers, retirees, and Education sector workers, who could receive up to 30,000 soles.

The payment will be made by the Local Education Management Units (UGEL) and the regional directorates of Education (DRE) located in the 24 departments of Peru and the Constitutional Province of Callao.
