Advance, the first Peruvian brand to manufacture computers
The beginning of this company originated with two systems engineers, Néstor Quispez-Asín and Óscar Cevallos, who are graduates of UNI and were dedicated to repairing computers during their university years. Due to their great knowledge and passion for these machines, they decided to found Grupo Deltron in 1989, a company dedicated to assembling computers from different globally recognized brands.
However, in 2001 there was a high demand for computers. That's why Quispez-Asín and Cevallos, together with their former colleague Carlos Durand, decided to found Advance. The goal was to sell computers at an affordable price and integrate them into the national market to compete with recognized brands.
"Our goal was to create a Peruvian computer brand that could be manufactured in the country with national quality standards," Durand said during an interview in 2021.
Currently, Advance maintains great partnerships with Microsoft and Intel to guarantee the quality of their computers to their customers. They have even implemented the sale of various technological products such as laptops, computers, tablets, monitors, surveillance equipment, among others.
