Erick Delgado has stopped playing professional football many years ago, but he is still remembered for his time at Sporting Cristal, where he had a successful career, winning three national titles and several short tournaments. He is also a confessed fan of the club, but he made a comment that could change the thinking of the Celeste fans towards him.

As is well known, the 'Loco' was formed in the Bajopontino team from a very young age, which is why he identified with the club, but on the program 'Erick y Gonzalo', the goalkeeper made a confession about his feelings towards one of the classic rivals of the cerveceros.
That team is Alianza Lima. He recognized it during the last broadcast of that Youtube space. "It is impossible that a 10-year-old child is not instilled with love for the shirt. I won't deny that I have a 'feeling' towards Alianza, I can't deny it. My father and grandfather have been fans for life," he said.
It could have been a white and blue goalkeeper
Life can sometimes take a 360-degree turn. As a child, he was a fan of the victorian team and could have started his football training in La Victoria, but as there was no team in his category, he ended up playing for Sporting Cristal. "When they took me to play ball, because I always liked it as a child, they tried to take me to Alianza Lima, but I was very young and there was no category. But in the end, I ended up involved in Cristal," he said.
