The president of the FPF spoke out in an interview following the latest proceedings by the Public Ministry at the national team's house.

Agustín Lozano, president of the Peruvian Football Federation, responded to the raids on the Videna by the Specialized Prosecutor's Office against Organized Crime, as part of the investigation being carried out against the head of the FPF and 12 other members of its board.

"It is impossible for the country not to realize that this is the result of television rights that are still in dispute with some clubs," the executive said in an interview.

"The Federation calls on the Public Ministry to be objective and neutral, so that with the transparency that characterizes it, it can resolve this problem as soon as possible, clarify things, and for that we are going to collaborate as we have been doing in the last two raids," added Lozano, who also denied that seven people live in the facilities of the national team's house.

"The seven people identified by the Public Ministry in the last raid, one is a legal area worker, two are warehouse workers, one is an equipment manager for the national teams, two have been players of the Under-20 women's team, and one is a player from the Under-17," replied the head of the FPF.

"Two of them, who are from my locality, are the warehouse managers and, due to the nature of their work, they have to stay overnight at the Videna facilities to provide attention to all the teams at different schedules, working 24/7," he added.

Regarding what was stated by the Prosecutor's Office, Lozano also pointed out the following about the discovery of 120 pairs of sneakers in a room at the venue: "That room belongs to the equipment manager of the national team, Mr. Franklin Chávez, who has been working at the Videna for many years and who will surely respond when summoned by the Public Ministry, but in no way does the Federation support acts that do not correspond to transparency and the work of safeguarding the interests of all our teams."
