On Sunday, May 21st, Universitario de Deportes defeated Alianza Lima 1-0 in the classic match of the Women's League (Xioczana Canales scored for the Universitario in the Monumental stadium). However, at the end of the match, in Ate, they not only talked about the performance of Johnn Tierradentro's team, but also about some provocative acts by four members of the Alianza Lima team - Rosa Castro, Gianella Romero, Sashenka Porras and Alison Azavache. Amidst all this scenario, the representatives of the Universitario club took the case to the Peruvian Football Federation.

So, last Monday it was confirmed that the merengue institution reported the provocative acts of the blanquiazules to the Disciplinary Commission of the FPF (for events that occurred before the match for the 8th round of the Women's League, at the Monumental stadium).

"In accordance with the FPF Single Justice Regulations, we submit a complaint to your office against the football players Rosa Adriana Castro Tello, Gianella Iveth Romero de la Cruz, Sashenka Tamara Porras Dreyfus, and Alison Crystel Azavache Rengifo from the women's team of Alianza Lima Club, for unsportsmanlike conduct that includes acts of provocation to the public and our players", stated the document from Universitario de Deportes after the match against Alianza Lima.

Afterwards, the Disciplinary Commission of the Peruvian Football Federation (CD-FPF) addressed the complaint of the Universitario team and began the investigation process to determine whether or not there will be any punishment for the football players of Alianza Lima. As detailed by RPP, the notification has already reached La Victoria.

How are Universitario and Alianza Lima doing in the Women's League?

Regarding their upcoming challenges, the team led by Jhonn Tierradentro will host Ayacucho FC (05/28) at the Monumental stadium in Ate, while the blanquiazules will face FC Killas (05/27) in Villa El Salvador.
