England will face Turkey this Sunday (11:30 am / ESPN 2) at the Etihad Stadium in a friendly match prior to Euro 2016.

The last match of the English team was on March 31. Roy Hodgson's team drew 1-1 against Italy. Days before, they surprised by defeating Germany 3-2 on German soil.

"We will start with a tough game against Turkey, and our goal will be to win and win by playing the type of football that we believe will be very useful during Euro 2016," said Roy Hodgson, coach of the England team.

Among the selected players of the English team, the presence of emerging figure Jamie Vardy stands out. The Leicester City forward scored 24 goals for the 'foxes', which earned him a place in the squad for Euro 2016.

England is in Group B of the European Championship along with Russia, Wales and Slovakia. Meanwhile, Turkey is in Group D with Spain, Czech Republic and Croatia.
