However, Kanashiro himself denied these statements and announced that he will take legal action against the people who dared to spread a false message using his name.
"I never said this, nor would I. We have known each other for over 30 years. Jokes on social media are accepted, it's part of it... not like this. Actions will be taken against this account. For now, I would ask you to report it. The legal part will take care of finding out who it belongs to", wrote the press man from his official Twitter.
On the other hand, it is worth mentioning that after Kanashiro raised his voice of protest, the account he denounced had the courtesy to apologize for the misunderstanding, stating that they were only sharing a "meme" of him or fake news in order to generate humor among the soccer audience. "In the face of your discomfort, we want to offer our sincere apologies", wrote the people from OutOfALContext 1901.
