The Disciplinary Committee of the FPF ratified its position to sanction Alianza Lima midfielder Christian Cueva with one match, after being sent off in the match against Union Comercio for the Apertura Tournament.
Without the need for the player's testimony to be presented, nor to hear the versions of the eyewitnesses, such as the match commissioner and journalists from Liga1, they maintained their position on the sanction.
The document reads: "The Disciplinary Committee of the FPF, as a jurisdictional body, respects the independence and autonomy of the other constituent bodies of the governing body, therefore, emphasizes that the decisions imposed on the field of play are fully respected in unrestricted compliance with the rules of the game and the good practices of football."
"Therefore, the document endorsed by the arbitration authority, whose sanction to the aforementioned player has been duly notified in the Boletín de Sanciones No. 13 of LIGA1 Betsson, is attached," the text adds later.
As recalled, referee Diego Haro confirmed in his amplifying report. "At the 90'+2' minutes of the match between both teams, player Christian Cueva Bravo was sent off for using offensive language towards me."
It should be noted that now "Aladino" will definitely not be able to be considered in Alianza Lima for their match this Sunday against Carlos A. Mannucci for the Apertura Tournament, due to this decision by the Disciplinary Committee of the FPF.
