“Karla (Ortiz) and I warmed up near the Alianza (Lima) fans and they always insulted us, talked about me, about the color of my skin, they gave me nicknames that… I have my own name. My name is Flavia Montes. And they shouldn't call me 'miss' or failure,” she added.

“The lady was there during all four games insulting us. She mocked the death of my teammate Karla Ortiz (a relative of the player), and she played a dirty trick on me during the match, I have to admit it because it was unsportsmanlike.
