Carlos Zambrano reveals details of his fight with Darío Benedetto

In light of this ongoing topic, former player Francisco Bazán commented on the sports program "Erick and Gonzalo" about the details of the alleged fight between the two players. He stated that after Zambrano's actions, the Peruvian would have earned the respect of his teammates.
'Paco' Bazán shared the following: "Do you know when Zambrano earned the respect of his teammates? When Zambrano went after 'Pipa' for not attending training, and someone very close to Carlos told me all this". He also mentioned that it all started during a Boca Juniors match. "They argued on the field, and then they entered the tunnel, where they started insulting each other. Zambrano was behind, and Darío caught him off guard and tried to hit him, but people intervened and separated them," he added.
Furthermore, he claimed that Zambrano went to 'Pipa's' house to retaliate. "And during that week, Carlos went to his house, like real men do, and took care of the situation".
Paco Bazán also downplayed Libertad, Alianza's rival in the Copa Libertadores
"Libertad is not River Plate, it's not Fluminense. They sold me on this team as if it were a powerhouse. The Paraguayan League is terrible, it's a lousy championship, it's less competitive than Liga 1. Paraguayans come here for a pass," he said on the program "Erick and Gonzalo".
