Christian Cueva was expelled this Sunday from Unión Comercio vs Alianza Lima, played at the Carlos Vidaurre stadium in Tarapoto, after playing the match as a starter and being replaced in the final stretch. Diego Haro, the main referee of the match, showed him a straight red card when he was on the bench and indicated verbal aggression with a gesture.
The 'Aladdin' himself spoke out about what happened and denied having insulted from the bench.
"I have witnesses. The fourth (referee) called Haro and said that I had told them they are sh*t...", said Cueva after the match in dialogue with Movistar Deportes.
"The only thing I said was why did he give 8 minutes. I did it here, also in Paraguay, there is nothing wrong. There's nothing wrong, I shouted loudly to be heard," he added.
