“I was having dinner with a friend. We ate and talked about many things. We had a few glasses of wine and after dinner I drove home. I know it's not good, but yes, I won't do it again”, said the player who also plays for the Peruvian National Team.
On the other hand, he confirmed that he has already spoken with his teammates at Malmö, after his situation became public. “The location is not the best. But I am here because I play football and I keep working. I have a family and I try not to think too much about this. I am a man, I am 27 years old. I have talked to my teammates and to the club. I have already talked to the coach too. The important thing is that this does not affect the team”, he revealed.
Another person who spoke about it was the sports director of the 'blues'. According to statements collected by Expressen, Daniel Anderson commented that the club is already aware of what happened with Peña, but did not give further details about the disciplinary sanctions he received.
