A few hours before the match: Alianza Lima and their discontent over the conditions of the stadium in Sullana [VIDEO]

Domingo 09 de Abril del 2023

Through his Twitter account, Héctor Ordóñez, delegate of Alianza Lima, evidenced the terrible conditions of the Campeones del 36 stadium prior to the match against Alianza Atlético.

Alianza Lima will face Alianza Atlético this afternoon at the Estadio Campeones del 36 (1:00 p.m.), for matchday 11 of the Torneo Apertura. However, what seemed to be the anticipation of an interesting match, ended in a complaint due to the terrible conditions in which the northern venue is located. This is based on the images that Héctor Ordóñez, the delegate of the Alianza Lima, published on his Twitter account.

In this video, it can be seen that the stadium does not have basic water and electricity services, which are essential for any team prior to a match. Likewise, Ordóñez referred to the inability of the Alianza Lima fans to go see their beloved team, due to the measure taken by the team from Sullana to only allow tickets for local fans.

Estadio Campeones del 36 in Sullana, 9:50 a.m. No light. No water. The fans from Sullana who support Alianza Lima deserve to see their team, we are happy to be here with them. But Peruvian football does not deserve such a scenario. Is it intentional? Ticket prices range from 50 to 150 soles,” said the representative of the Alianza Lima club.

At the moment, Alianza Atlético has not responded to this complaint from Alianza Lima. Let's remember that the Alianza Lima team has been in Sullana since Saturday and will soon head to the Estadio Campeones del 36.

Salas prepares his board

Guillermo Salas will not be able to count on his full squad, due to the injuries of Gino Peruzzi, Edison Chávez, and Christian Cueva. The latter ended up injured after the match against Paranaense for the Copa Libertadores and did not travel to Sullana with the rest of his teammates.

Thus, Alianza Lima will line up as follows: Ángelo Campos in goal; Carlos Montoya, Carlos Zambrano, Santiago García, and Ricardo Lagos in the defensive zone; Josepmir Ballón, Jesús Castillo, and Andrés Andrade in the midfield; Gabriel Costa, Bryan Reyna, and Pablo Sabbag in the offensive line.
