Now it happened in the district of Sachaca (Arequipa), after a match for the district league, when fans entered the field and, according to the images, started a brawl.

The incident occurred at approximately 2 p.m. last Sunday, after the match where FBC Strangers defeated Earling Boys 2-1. At the time of the brawl, there were no police officers or security guards inside the Municipal Stadium of Sachaca.

The president of the Sachaca League, Fredy Hurtado, said that although there were no police personnel inside the stadium, they were patrolling the surrounding areas and responded when they received the call. Previously, they did not require security guards because they were assigned to other security tasks for the start of Holy Week.

Hurtado adds that they are still investigating the causes and who participated in the brawl. "We cannot hold anyone responsible at the moment," he said.

However, a witness indicates that everything started when Strangers fans entered the field to celebrate their victory, provoking the Earling players and supporters, whose fans also tried to enter the field.

There, a struggle would have taken place with the person in charge of the entrance gate to the field, the invasion of the playing field, and the brawl.

The same witness holds the supporter groups responsible for the acts of violence and exonerates the players. According to the images, it can be seen that the footballers try to calm down and separate those involved in the fight, although another group of athletes can be seen chasing a civilian who previously attacked someone inside the field.

The president of the league rules out that the origin of the incident is a complaint against the refereeing since the referee was already in the dressing room when the brawl began. After the fight was appeased, the programming continued with the main match.

For now, the Sachaca League will begin investigations on Monday and then impose sanctions. "If it is determined that the leaders are involved, they must assume responsibility as it should be," said Fredy Hurtado.
