Cienciano issued a strong statement following Jean Deza's statements.

This Tuesday, March 28, the program Magaly TV La Firme revealed audios in which Jean Deza had a conversation with his ex-partner and mother of his child. However, in one part of the dialogue, the football player revealed that Cienciano was evading taxes in a peculiar way. Minutes later, the Cusco team issued a statement, in which they denied what was said by the national player.

" We categorically deny the statements of the football player, Jean Deza, broadcasted on an entertainment program, where he states that the Club pays the professional team's salaries "in cash and black" ",” the first part of the statement published by 'Papá' on its social networks reads.

“In that sense and in the interest of transparency, the Cienciano Club denies these statements because it has always respected the legal and financial regulations of the Peruvian state, through SUNAT, both in its administration and in each contract with its employees,” it added.

Finally, the Cusco team stated that they will take action against Jean Deza. “This act, which seeks to tarnish the image and honor of our institution, will be evaluated by the board of directors of the Cienciano Club in order to take the appropriate measures regarding the mentioned football player,” they concluded.

What did Jean Deza say?

In one part of the conversation between Jean Deza and the mother of his child, the Cienciano footballer stated that the Cusco club pays him in two installments, one that is "in cash", an amount that the club registers with the FPF, and "in white", which would be the full amount of his salary. All this with the aim of "evading taxes".

“Here we get paid in cash and black. On the 30th, they pay you the white, which is the minimum, do you understand? And between the 10th and 12th, they pay you the black, which is everything. Because of tax evasion, the club has paid me the white and that's why I've deposited it right away, that's what I'm referring to,” the national footballer said.
