What penalty do companies receive for not paying profits on time?
If a company fails to pay profits on time, workers have the right to complain. Therefore, they can contact Sunafil.
However, they receive a fine that can amount to 26.12 UIT, that is, 129,294 soles, according to the number of affected individuals.
When are profits paid?
Companies have a maximum period of 30 calendar days, after the submission of the Annual Income Tax Return before the National Superintendence of Customs and Tax Administration (Sunat). The dates range from March 27 to May 11.
Who receives this year's profits?
Firstly, employees on the payroll who have worked in the calculated year (2022) will have the economic benefit. In addition to them, individuals who have been employed temporarily, indefinitely, full-time or part-time, foreigners and Peruvians are included.
It should be noted that former employees also have the right to receive said amount. However, trainees will not enjoy the profits of 2023.
