On Monday, January 21, the Peruvian Football Federation confirmed the resignation of Héctor Lara López from the Director of Competitions of the Professional Football League. The Mexican lawyer took office in November 2022 with the aim of enhancing the professionalization and development of Peruvian football.
Furthermore, Lara will now assume the sports directorship of Liga MX club Rayados FC. The start of his duties will be on April 1, 2023.
"Likewise, betting on internal talent and continuing with the restructuring plan of Peruvian football, the FPF reports that Mr. Jesús Gonzales Hurtado, who served as Chief Operations Officer of the LFP, will assume the position of Manager of the Professional Football League starting in April," reported the FPF.
