Al Fateh, a club in the Saudi Arabian league, announced on Wednesday that they have resolved their legal issue with Peruvian midfielder Christian Cueva, who will play on loan for Alianza Lima for six months, as agreed by both parties.
"Amidst the strong position of the club on the matter, and in compliance with the club's policies and principles on fulfilling the wishes of the players and ensuring the appropriate psychological atmosphere, Al Fateh's management has agreed to loan the player to Alianza Lima until the end of the season, after Cueva expressed his desire to do so due to special circumstances," the statement said.
In addition, Al Fateh highlights that they never terminated Cueva's contract, and for his arrival at Alianza Lima, he waived any type of claims against the team, which owns his player card until 2025.
It should be noted that Cueva was announced as a player for Alianza Lima. He is expected to make his debut for the national two-time champion in the upcoming matches of the Liga 1 2023, after recovering physically from a long period off the field.
