"The Last of Us" is a series based on the video game of the same name. The production tells the story of Joel and Ellie, two survivors in the midst of a pandemic caused by the Cordyceps fungus (which causes those affected to become cannibals) that is affecting the United States.
Both must travel together so that the teenager who is immune to the fungus can reach a place where they will study her and thus be able to obtain a vaccine or treatment against the cause of the pandemic.
