The closing of the Peruvian football transfer window is just around the corner (March 8) and more than one club is looking to strengthen their squad to continue facing the Liga 1 2023 and achieve the goals they have set this season.
In that sense, Roberto Siucho from Universitario de Deportes and Bernardo Cuesta from FBC Melgar received their naturalization titles and were registered by their institutions as Peruvian players. In this way, both avoided occupying a foreign player spot.
As for the forwards Danilo Carando from Cienciano and Santiago Silva from Deportivo Garcilaso, they will obtain their naturalization titles on Monday, March 6 and then be registered in the Liga 1.
How long will the registration process take?
In the cases of Siucho and Cuesta, the process will start on Monday, March 6. For this reason, both players would be ready to make their debut in the 8th matchday of the Apertura.
Meanwhile, Carando and Silva may have to wait one more week, as the registration process takes between 3 to 4 days once they receive their naturalization and the documents are submitted to the FPF. These attackers may only be able to participate in matchday 9 of the Apertura.
