Sporting Cristal showed a high level and crushed Nacional 5-1 to secure their qualification to Phase 3 of the Copa Libertadores. The goals came thanks to Irven Ávila (2), Ignacio Da Silva, Jhilmar Lora, and Washingon Corozo. The latter couldn't start the match well, but the final minutes were decisive for him to become a key piece.

After the match, the Ecuadorian forward expressed his thoughts and surprised everyone by leaving a touching message, stating that this comeback is thanks to the teamwork of all his teammates.

"Very happy for all the work the team did. We knew we had to turn things around and I think with God's blessing we reversed that score," he said in an interview with ESPN.

Furthermore, the skillful forward emphasized that he was not surprised by the match, but once again gave credit to the collective and hopes to go for more in order to qualify for the group stage.

"From the first minute we knew what was coming and with the help of my teammates we turned the result around. We will keep working," he added decisively.
