Carlos Zambrano enjoys the beginning of his new adventure with Alianza Lima.
Despite being shown a red card and being sent off in the 2-1 victory over Universitario, the defender was happy to have his first appearance for his beloved team. After that, he held his head high and was resolute in giving his impressions of beating the cremas at the Estadio Monumental.

The popular 'Kaiser' spoke in different media outlets and caught a lot of attention, as he pointed out that he never had in mind making his debut in Peruvian football and defeating the classic rival in their own home.
"I am very happy to debut in the Liga 1 with a victory, especially in a classic, which is a different sensation. I dreamed of this moment, although I really didn't think about making my debut against 'U' and winning in their stadium", he said to Radio Ovación.
Furthermore, the center-back was asked about the level shown in this latest performance, considering that they are getting closer to competing in the Copa Libertadores. He sent a strong message to the clubs in the Liga 1, especially those participating in international tournaments, stating that they must get used to showing a good level and taking all three points.
"Against 'U', Cristal, Melgar, and Vallejo, who are teams that play international tournaments, we have to get used to winning, because in the Libertadores it will be a similar situation and the demand will be even greater, and winning will always give us confidence," he added.
As it is known, Alianza Lima has unfinished business in the 'Gloria Eterna', so they hope to settle the score with the former Boca Juniors player and the other players who have joined to strengthen the team led by Guillermo Salas.
Finally, it is important to mention that Carlos Zambrano arrived at Alianza Lima and signed a two-season contract. However, it is not ruled out that the bond between the club and the player may be extended in the future.
