Bonus Fishermen 2023: How much is this benefit?
The economic subsidy amounts to 500 soles and will be granted to more than 36,000 workers dedicated to this profession. The Head of the Ministry of Production, Raúl Pérez Reyes, commented that the National Fisheries Health Organization (Sanipes) and the Institute of the Sea of Peru (Imarpe) are monitoring the affected areas.
Bonus Fishermen 2023: Who will receive the 500 soles?
- Citizens must be formally engaged in artisanal fishing.
- They must be included in the Registry of Beneficiaries of artisanal fishermen.
- They must not be affiliated with other social programs and/or economic subsidies.
Bonus Fishermen 2023: When will the 500 soles be available for collection?
The Peruvian government has a period of 30 calendar days to begin delivering the economic benefit. Furthermore, Emergency Decree No. 004-2023 has stated that beneficiaries can collect this money until April 30th.

President Dina Boluarte indicated that this benefit will be provided through the branches of the Bank of the Nation, as well as other financial institutions nationwide.
