The Ministry of Agricultural Development and Irrigation (Midagri) has announced a new strategy to reactivate the agricultural sector, which has been affected by the increase in some products. The Drought Bonus is aimed at livestock farmers and farmers from 17 regions of the country.

More than 247, 437 livestock farmers and farmers from all over Peru will be able to collect this benefit that seeks to provide economic support to these citizens. Below, you can check if you are on the official list made by Midagri.

Drought Bonus: How much money will beneficiaries receive?
The Ministry of Agricultural Development and Irrigation (Midagri) indicated that this money will be distributed as follows. Take note!
- FARMERS: These citizens will receive 800 soles per hectare up to a maximum of four plots, that is, S/ 3,200.
- LIVESTOCK FARMERS: Alpaca breeders will receive 266 soles per animal and the limit is 12 camelids, therefore, they would receive S/ 3, 192.
Drought Bonus: When will you be able to collect the money?
According to the State, this economic benefit began to be delivered on January 30 and beneficiaries will be able to collect the money until March 10. The payment schedule will be based on the last digit of the National Identity Document (DNI).
