In July 2022, the news was official: Peruvian player Alessandro Burlamaqui, of Valencia, would be loaned to CD Badajoz, from Group I of the First Federation (third division of Spain), in order to have more playing time. The agreement was for one season, but, surprisingly, this Friday the end of the contract was announced.
"CD Badajoz announces the departure of Alessandro Burlamaqui. The 20-year-old player, on loan from Valencia CF, has played a total of 13 matches this season, 3 of them as a starter. From the club, we wish Aless good luck in his personal and professional future," the white and black club posted on a website.
In this way, although there was still time to finish his loan, the 2002-born midfielder parted ways with Badajoz. His future is currently uncertain. In the coming days, it is expected to be known whether Alessandro Burlamaqui will return to Valencia or will be loaned to another team.
At the end of 2022, a Valencia media outlet called Esportbase stated that Valencia did not rule out cutting the loan to send him, for half a season, to another club where he can demonstrate his qualities, as, according to the mentioned outlet, he was a "loaned asset that is losing market value".
