Former player and coach of Universitario de Deportes, Roberto Chale, has been transferred to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a local clinic in Lima after a setback in his health. The family of the beloved club idol has asked fans and friends to pray for his health.

"We ask all fans to pray for our father, today he is being transferred to ICU. We ask God to help him recover and return home with us. We ask for your support in organizing health services and many prayers," said Roberto Chale's family in a Facebook post.
