The Women's League 2023 does not have a start date yet, but several clubs are already working on their pre-season. One of them is Universitario de Deportes, a team that trains daily on the VIDU field.
As part of the weekly planning, the merengue institution published the schedule of activities which, unlike other times, includes a preparation match against another team that will also participate in the women's football championship.
This team is Deportivo Municipal. The 'edil' team was chosen to play a friendly match against Universitario de Deportes. In this way, the 'U' will have its first match against another squad in this 2023. That is, it will be John Tierradentro's unofficial debut as a cream trainer.
The match between Universitario de Deportes vs. Deportivo Municipal is scheduled for Saturday, January 28th, starting at 8:30 am. It will be closed-door.
