Sport journalist, Omar Ruiz de Somocurcio, spoke out after the eventful debut of the Peru U-20 national team against the Brazilian squad, in the first match of the South American championship for this category held in Colombia.

Through Panamericana Televisión's TikTok account, the host of "Teledeportes" lamented the tough defeat of the "blanquirroja", who lost 3-0 against the "Scratch".

"It's a shame, but what was expected was confirmed. A poor debut by the Peru U-20 national team [...] although the Peruvian team surprised in the first half, they had a very good first half against Brazil [...] the first goal was conceded and in the end, they lost 3-0 with a convincing defeat that could have been even worse", he stated in the video that you can watch in full here.

Likewise, the press representative emphasized the weak performance of the more experienced players in this group, such as Kluivert Aguilar and Arón Sánchez.
