To support the thousands of vulnerable and extremely poor Peruvians, the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion (MIDIS) approved the creation of the Food Bonus of 270 soles.

It is worth noting that this subsidy has been delivered since 2022. Until April 30, 2023, beneficiaries will be able to collect it through various established methods by the Government. In this article, we will provide you with all the details to determine if you are eligible.

How to collect the 2023 Food Bonus?

According to the official gob.pe platform, there are four payment methods for the Food Bonus. What are they? Here we will explain each one of them.

  • Deposit in an account: The subsidy will be deposited according to the schedule into an account in your name from any banking institution in the country. Then, you will be able to withdraw it easily at ATMs or authorized agents.
  • Digital wallet: You will be able to access the money digitally if you use Yape, Tunki, or Agora Pay.
  • Mobile payment units: This method is designed for those who live in remote areas of the country and cannot access banks. For this reason, mobile payment units or value transport companies (ETV) will be available to deliver the bonus.
  • Payment at bank branches: If you don't have a bank account, you can go to any Banco de la Nación branch to collect the 270 soles through the teller window.
