César Vallejo continues to gear up for the Liga 1 and the Copa Sudamericana 2023, and for this reason, the board not only confirmed that they will play friendly matches abroad (in Montevideo, Uruguay), but also the renewal of Luiz Humberto da Silva, who signed his contract for two seasons with the northern team. With this, he will stay in the 'Poet' squad until the end of 2024.
'Betoto' was one of the key pieces in the offensive line-up of the team that was coached by 'Chemo' Del Solar, so the board considered it appropriate to give him a contract, after the player finished his employment relationship with Alianza Lima, the club that had loaned him to the Trujillo team for 2022.
It is worth mentioning that Beto Da Silva is already part of the Trujillo team's preseason, as they prepare for their debut in the next edition of the Liga 1, against Sport Huancayo, in the first round of the Torneo Apertura.
César Vallejo's Schedule
As part of their preseason ahead of the start of the next edition of the Liga 1 and the Copa Sudamericana, César Vallejo confirmed their presence in the "Copa Sebastián Abreu", which will take place in Uruguay from January 9 to 13. The team led by 'Loco' will test their strength against Atlético Tucumán from Argentina and Nacional from Uruguay. In addition, they will have a friendly match against Vélez Sarsfield, as part of the scheduled agenda.
It is worth mentioning that César Vallejo University has already completed its fourth week of training and on January 4th, they will present their team at the 'Noche Poeta' (from 6:00 pm), an event where they will face Universitario de Deportes. The next day, they will travel to Lima to begin their international challenge in Uruguay.
