The Binacional Sports Club from Puno will begin its preseason on January 2nd, ahead of its participation in the professional tournament of the Liga 1 and the preliminary phase of the Copa Sudamericana 2023. This was reported by sources from the Mighty of the South. However, during a tour of the sports field where the high-altitude team usually receives visiting teams, it was verified that it is in poor condition.

Despite the fact that the team from Puno will already start with training sessions, it was observed that the grass of the Guillermo Briceño Rosamedina Stadium in Juliaca is in poor condition, so it needs maintenance before the start of the Liga 1 tournament.

As can be seen in the images accessed by La República, the grass of the Juliaca stadium did not receive adequate maintenance during the professional football tournament break period.
