Through Decree of Urgency No. 026-2022, the Executive Branch considered it appropriate to provide 100 soles to complement the 500 soles of the Christmas bonus for public sector workers. What else do we know about this extra benefit? Find out the most important details.
In the official document, it is stipulated that this "extra money" will go directly with the regular payroll, since it is known that 300 soles were initially planned for the bonus, under the national budget.
Who receives the 100 soles bonus?
The most important requirement is that public sector workers have a gross monthly income less than or equal to 2,000 soles, in order to receive the 100 soles:
- They must have a current employment relationship, as of the publication date of this new decree of urgency.
- They must be registered in the Computer Application for the Centralized Registry of Payrolls and Human Resources Data of the Public Sector (AIRHSP), authorized by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
What is the 100 soles bonus?
It is an extraordinary bonus given only once and exceptionally in 2022. Thus, 282,500 soles were allocated by the national government, as well as regional and local governments, to finance this incentive to final recipients.
This bonus is not remunerative, compensatory, pensionable, and is not subject to social security charges.
