Vuelve a La Videna

José Guillermo del Solar has been announced as the new Director of the Youth Technical Unit of the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF). The former U. César Vallejo coach will be responsible for enhancing the under-15, under-17, and under-20 categories and working together with Juan Reynoso to expand the pool of players eligible for the Peruvian national team.

In his first statements, "Chemo" del Solar thanked Juan Carlos Oblitas and Agustín Lozano for trusting in his work and committed to giving his best for the benefit of Peruvian football.

"I appreciate Agustín's trust, the "Ciego", Juan, and everyone at the Federation for giving me the opportunity to return to La Videna. I am fully committed to you and we will work together for the benefit of Peruvian football," he said.

The perfect trio

The president of the FPF, Agustín Lozano, praised del Solar and believes that together with Oblitas and Reynoso, they will achieve the development that our national football deserves.

"With José, Juan Carlos, and Juan, we have the perfect trio. At the Federation, we are convinced that we will move forward with our sports and institutional projects," he stated.
