Through its official social networks, Alianza Lima Femenino announced that Samir Mendoza has left his position as a coach.
"Thank you 'Profe' Samir! We appreciate your professionalism and dedication, which gave us the bicampeonato, making history in the blanquiazul institution. We wish you the best of success in your projects. Up Samir!", was the message written by the club.
It is not yet known who will replace him, but in recent weeks it has been rumored that they were looking for a Colombian coach. At the moment, there are no names rumoured, although there may be news in the coming days.
Alianza Lima confirms arrival of Colombian coach
After his great spell with Deportivo Cali, Alianza Lima announced the arrival of Jhon Alber Ortiz, who will take up the position left by Samir Mendoza.
In the 'sugarcane' team, Ortiz won a national title and achieved a runner-up position, in addition to reaching the semifinals of the 2022 Women's Copa Libertadores.
