Sebastian Cavero debutó con Alianza Lima in 2020
Alianza Lima gave debut to several promises from its academies. Some managed to establish themselves in the first team like Oswaldo Valenzuela, while others went on loan or decided to terminate their contract with the team.
Such is the case of Sebastian Cavero, a 20-year-old footballer who made his debut with Alianza Lima in the 2020 season and has just signed a two-year contract with FBC Melgar, according to information from Jose Varela, a journalist from LIBERO.
Cavero, who plays as a left-winger but can also play as a full-back or midfielder, was loaned to Alianza Universidad in the 2021 season and returned to Alianza Lima at the beginning of this year. However, due to lack of playing time, he decided to terminate his contract in July and signed for Atletico Grau.
"At the beginning of the year, we discussed the situation with Alianza. I was going to continue with the remaining year of my contract, but halfway through the year, we saw the position I was in with my agent and family, and we decided it was best to look for playing time and terminate the contract. We ended on good terms with Alianza, it is the club where I was trained, where I made my debut, and I hope to return," Cavero said on Radio Ovación.
After accumulating 844 minutes with the Piura team, Cavero became a free agent and was signed by Melgar until the end of 2024. The footballer trained with Palmeiras for two weeks in February 2020, but did not manage to stay with the Sao Paulo team.
When is Sebastian Cavero worth?
Sebastian Cavero is valued at 225,000 euros in the transfer market, according to the Transfermarkt portal.
